Product description
Lyndahl SL-P high-end HDMI cable "High Speed with Ethernet" 2.0, backward compatible with 1.4a
NEW: cables in the SL-P series up to 2 m in length are prepared for Ultra HD (UHD) with resolutions up to 8K!
Advantages:
A key difference from conventional HDMI connections is the patented Lyndahl SL-P connection technology. The contacts are not soldered, as is usual. This means: no chemically aggressive soldered joints and no tendency towards oxidation or contact problems as the product ages.
Even today, HDMI cables are almost without exception soldered by hand. Variations caused by the differing daily form of the workers are unavoidable and regularly lead to quality problems with conventional HDMI connections. This is where the solder-free Lyndahl SL technology sets new standards: electrical and mechanical tolerances are reduced to an absolute minimum. As a not insignificant side effect, manufacturing offers better working conditions through the elimination of toxic soldering chemicals. In professional network technology, for example, solder-free connections have long become established. Thanks to its slim dimensions, the Lyndahl SL-P HDMI metal connector is also well suited to (largely straight) installation conduits with a 25 mm internal diameter. Furthermore, the connectors of the SL-P MKII version are equipped with additional springs and thus ensure a very firm fit, which is an advantage particularly in professional applications.
Quality:
In the Lyndahl SL-P series, all products comply with the latest standard (HDMI V1.4a High Speed with Ethernet). With the integrated Ethernet line, the use of new functions and technologies beyond picture and sound, such as 3D, is ensured. Lyndahl guarantees flawless operation up to 20 m in Full HD for all lengths of the SL series. For greater lengths, we recommend our HDMI extenders.
Loose material for installers:
The SL-P technology is also available for self-assembly by the metre (1.4V). Installation channels and custom-made lengths are therefore no longer an obstacle. The precision insulation-displacement technique joins the patented connectors together using a special tool. Within minutes you obtain a perfect SL-P connection that is technically indistinguishable from a ready-assembled cable. With the AWG24 cable quality, lengths of up to 20 m are easily possible. Shorter distances can be laid using the AWG26 quality.
About Lyndahl:
You will surely have come across the name Lyndahl in professional HDMI technology: while Lyndahl is still regarded as an insider tip in the consumer sector today, many consumer electronics stores already feature video walls cabled with special Lyndahl HDMI technology. Behind this stands a supplier of cables and audio-video accessories that now passes on its experience to the home cinema market too. Lyndahl products are affordable: in the professional sector, quantities are handled on a scale from which private users naturally also benefit.
