When cables are meant to disappear into conduit, a flush-mounted box or a cable duct, success is decided in two places: at the transition from the wall to the device – and in whether the cable can be pulled in at all. That is exactly what the Lyndahl installation range is made for.

The three designs – which one suits your project?
Keystone modules
The most flexible system: you populate a frame with exactly the connectors you need. Available among others as HDMI, USB 2.0 and 3.0, RJ45 in CAT 5e and CAT 6a, BNC, 3.5 mm jack and binding post – in black and white. If your requirements change, you swap a single module instead of the whole box.
Adapter cables for front-panel mounting
Short, pre-assembled pieces with a socket at both ends – ideal when there is little space behind the panel. They are available for HDMI, DVI-I, VGA, DisplayPort, RJ45, RCA, USB and jack, in some cases also angled or in a flat design for tight installation situations.
Built-in and flange boxes
The robust variant for walls, furniture or enclosures – such as the HDMI feed-through box or stainless steel in-wall speaker boxes for common switch boxes.
What customers ask us most often
The cable has to go through the conduit – what do I need to watch out for?
It is the plug that determines the required conduit diameter, not the cable. A fitted HDMI plug needs considerably more room than the lead itself. That is why flat adapter cables are worth a look, and why the transition is better made at the box than inside the conduit. Always pull in a spare draw wire – retrofitting without a pulling aid is laborious.
How long may an HDMI run be?
As a rule of thumb: the higher the resolution, the shorter the safe run. At Full HD, longer distances are usually uncritical; at 4K it gets tricky from around 10 metres. Over such distances you are better off with a transmission system than with a very long passive cable. Give us a call before you drill into the wall – the run can be worked out beforehand.
Do I need to be able to solder?
No. Keystone modules and adapter cables are plugged in or screwed together. Soldering is only needed on certain speaker panels.
Black or white – and will it match my switch range?
The modules come in both colours; built-in boxes additionally in stainless steel. The dimensions are chosen to suit common switch boxes. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the box you already have.
