Product description

Lyndahl CS195ST stereo built-in loudspeaker set with AMP4X15BT Bluetooth amplifier, available with one or two speakers.

The Lyndahl CS195ST stereo built-in loudspeaker is perfect for rooms with limited space. As there is basically a left and a right speaker in one housing, a balanced sound image is created even where space is limited.

One left and one right channel are installed for the connection. Because it is a passive speaker, you do not need an extra power connection and can enjoy your music as soon as you have connected the speaker cables to the amplifier.

Thanks to the double voice coil and two tweeters, the complete music spectrum is transmitted and you have a unique sound experience - with just one built-in speaker. If you choose the set with two loudspeakers, for example, a second zone can also be covered with little effort and full sound.

The scope of delivery includes a template that you can use to easily mark the required drill hole. The speaker can then be mounted without tools using retaining clips.

The Lyndahl Bluetooth 4-channel + AUX amplifier AMP4X15BT is suitable for music playback via up to two stereo speakers. These are each operated via two separate amplifier channels. An additional music source, such as a CD or MP3 player, can be connected to the AUX input. As soon as you start playback, the amplifier switches on automatically.
Thanks to its small size and low heat generation, the amplifier can be discreetly concealed in false ceilings or furnishings. The sine wave output of the AMP4X15BT is 60 W.

The set contains the AMP4X15BT amplifier module (incl. 12V power supply unit and two 4-pin connectors) and either one or two CS195ST stereo speakers, including the corresponding connection cables, drilling template and operating instructions.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Why does the CS195ST have four terminals?

It reproduces both stereo channels from one speaker (dual voice coil) — so the left and right channels are both connected, four wires in total. Just mind the polarity.

Who is the stereo in-wall speaker for?

Honest answer: only for places where there is no room for two speakers. A classic stereo effect cannot arise from a single point — with enough space, two separate speakers are always the better choice.

How do I stop neighbours or pupils from connecting?

While you are actively playing, the device is locked against third parties. The most reliable protection is a remote-controlled socket or an in-line switch: power only when needed — pairings are retained. In schools and offices, wired playback via AUX is the most robust solution.

How do I get the TV sound onto the speakers?

Via Bluetooth or — more robustly — via a jack cable into the AUX input; the TV needs a headphone or adjustable audio output for this. Important: Bluetooth takes priority as soon as something actively plays there; a merely connected but silent device does not disturb AUX playback.

How large does the ceiling cut-out need to be?

Guide values: CS200P template 180 mm (min. approx. 172 mm), CS200S 176 mm, CS180IP 135–137 mm, CS195ST 174 mm, CS120AL 106 mm; mounting depths 63–85 mm. The cutting template included in the box is always authoritative — if you print a PDF template, measure the inner circle first.

May the speaker go into the bathroom or outdoors?

Into the bathroom, in principle yes — as long as no water spray hits the speaker directly and the room is ventilated normally. Closer to the water and in covered outdoor areas, the CS180IP with IP44 protection is the right choice. We give no approval for saunas — adhesive joints come apart there.

How much bass does a built-in speaker deliver?

Less than a floorstander, more than most people expect — what decides it is cone area and the air volume behind the driver. The same driver sounds leaner in an open ceiling void than in a closed cavity; a back box or an insulated suspended ceiling audibly adds foundation. Mounted close to a wall or a corner you gain further low end. If you really want punch, a compact speaker such as the SB242M on the wall or a separate subwoofer is the honest route rather than more watts — power is no substitute for cone area.
