Caratec Audio CAS204D Sound System for Ducato (6-Channel DSP) - for Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and CITROËN Jumper X250 and X290 (from 2007)The active Caratec plug & play sound system consists of a compact amplifier (6-channel) with integrated DSP and a subwoofer. The amplifier optimises the sound of the speakers already fitted in the vehicle and drives the powerful subwoofer. This creates a completely new and convincing listening experience in next to no time. The sound detaches from the speakers and floats above the dashboard. The subwoofer, together with relieving the originally fitted speakers of low frequencies, produces a noticeably clearer, more vivid sound.
The set includes two compact speakers that are very easy to integrate thanks to the three supplied housing variants for flush, surface and corner mounting.
The CAS204D has been configured specifically for the Fiat Ducato X250 and X290 with radio pre-installation, without an original radio. The plug & play wiring harness for the ISO connectors of the radio enables connection and installation in a very short time; separate connections to the vehicle are not required. Note on subwoofer installation: The space under the passenger seat is required for the subwoofer, i.e. no battery may be fitted here, for example. An optional extension cable CAZ100L (2 m) may be required to fit the subwoofer in another location.
