This illuminated table globe by National Geographic skilfully combines tradition and modernity. The sphere has a diameter of 37 cm and is traditionally hand-laminated with the "Classic" or "Executive" cartography produced by the National Geographic Maps Division. The map image is essentially political, with physical information indicated by shading. Over 2,000 geographical names are recorded on this hand-laminated illuminated globe.
The globe is framed by a meridian made of brushed stainless steel and sits on an elegant wooden base. The globe has an overall height of 43 cm.
