With the "Vasa" series, Magellan-Expedition presents various globes with a 32 cm diameter sphere on a classically designed wooden stand.Thanks to its modern mount in an elegant gold tone, a globe like this quickly becomes an eye-catcher on the desk, at home or in the office. The sophisticated suspension runs hidden inside the globe. A red-brown wooden base rounds off the design. Its foam underside provides a firm hold and helps prevent scratches.
For the globe, you can choose from various materials as well as topographical and thematic maps. While in PVC printing the map illustration is joined to the plastic sphere using high-quality composite technology, on the hand-laminated paper globe the 12 paper segments of the map material are applied to the sphere in traditional handcraft. This manufacturing technique allows for illustration with great wealth of detail and also provides a pleasant feel.
