Caratec Audio CAS203 Sound System for Integrated Motorhomes with 16 cm Speakers

The active Caratec plug & play sound system consists of a compact amplifier with integrated DSP and a subwoofer. The amplifier optimises the sound of the speakers already present in the vehicle and drives the powerful subwoofer. This creates a completely new and convincing sound experience in no time. The sound detaches itself from the speakers and floats above the dashboard. The subwoofer, together with relieving the originally fitted speakers of low frequencies, creates a much clearer, lively sound image.

The CAS203 sound system significantly improves the sound in integrated motorhomes. Unfortunately, this is often genuinely necessary, because even manufacturers of high-class motorhomes not infrequently fit speakers in acoustically unfavourable installation locations such as the footwell, or simply use speakers that are too small. We have tackled this problem and provide a remedy with the CAS203. The speakers are relieved of the low frequencies and then play more clearly than before. The subwoofer provides downward-extended bass reproduction and clean bass. The installation-related weaknesses in treble reproduction are optimised by the sound processor (DSP). The result has little to do with the previous sound and will surprise you!

The CAS203 is suitable for motorhomes with 13-16 cm speakers at the side of the footwell. Note on subwoofer installation: The space under the passenger seat is required for the subwoofer, i.e. no battery, for example, may be mounted here. If necessary, an optional extension cable CAZ100L (2 m) is required to mount the subwoofer in another location.
