The Marmitek Video Control 3E makes it possible to transmit remote control signals via an existing antenna cable.
This means that you can, for example, fully control a satellite receiver (DVD player, video recorder, etc.) located in a completely different room with your existing remote control.
And all with no effort, because no new cables need to be laid!
The only requirement for the system to work is an antenna cable that must be present in both rooms.
The remote control signal is also passed on via antenna sockets, splitters and antenna amplifiers, provided these are return-channel capable.
The transmitter feeds the remote control commands into the antenna line of the room in which, for example, the TV set is located.
In the room containing the devices that are to be remotely controlled, the receiver is connected to the antenna line.
The supplied IR diode set is connected to it and the diodes are stuck onto the front of the devices (max 3!) - that is all.
You can now operate the devices from the first room with your usual remote control.
As an expansion option, receivers can be purchased separately.
